I was born and brought up in the Los Angeles area of southern California. I had wonderful parents who taught me correct morals and a strong work ethic. I have a diverse background in business ownership and management as well as commercial and residential real estate sales and leasing experience. I have been a Kauai resident since 1994. I am married to a wonderful woman and have two children ages 13 and 11. I am actively involved in my church and community and am an excellent listener and hard worker.

7 years as a Product Manager and National Sales Manager for 2 sporting goods manufacturers who were leaders in their field –Aldila Inc., pioneer of the graphite golf shaft, tennis racquet and racquetball racquet and Rip Curl U.S.A., worldwide leader in water sports wetsuits and related accessories. With both companies I was responsible for all divisional sales and marketing activities, including hiring and supervision of a national sales force, product design and development, inventory control, profit planning, advertising and promotion.
7 years as a sales and leasing specialist with CB Commercial (now CB Richard Ellis), the largest commercial real estate firm in the U.S.. I consummated 126 building transactions with a total consideration of $42,000,000. Transaction size ranged from 600-85,000 sq. ft.
1 year as a Business Development Officer for 2 leading SBA commercial lenders, Rancho Santa Fe National Bank and Bank of San Diego. In each case I was the leading producer at both banks and being an integral part of Bank of San Diego becoming the # 1 SBA lender in an extremely competitive market.
12 years as owner and founder of Kela’s…A Glass Gallery on Kauai, the 1st and largest specialty glass art gallery in Hawaii and statistically in the top 10% of like national galleries in most categories.
