Once again, the island of Kauai was ranked 3rd best island in the world in 2007 by subscribers of Travel and Leisure Magazine. Lush green surroundings, pristine beaches and waterfalls too numerous to count are a big part of why Kauai is called the Garden Island. You can expect a more relaxed lifestyle that is not over-developed and yet has all the modern conveniences.

Kauai has a land area of 622 square miles and a population of about 63,000. This works out to be only 94 people per square mile! As the locals say, "Lucky you live Kauai"!
